Members of the IAB, all of whom are investors in the company, will provide unique insights and suggestions to ECS based on their own experiences. For example, Jack Kutner, the Chief Operating Officer of BigBelly Solar and the first outside investor in the company, indicated that “my background has led me to develop a keen concern for the environment, and I’ve found a good outlet in combining my business skills with a socially responsible agenda. That is why I like so much what ECS is doing.”

Mark Farber, one of the founders and former CEO of Evergreen Solar, declared, “I am a big believer in combining accelerated energy efficiency with solar and renewable energy installations. ECS and its college clients have a big opportunity to demonstrate cutting edge clean energy breakthroughs given students’ and the schools’ interest in sustainability and reducing their carbon footprints.”
