CONTINUED  she has worked with students and teachers at several public and private school systems in Massachusetts.

Ms. Brennan held several positions at Perkins School for the Blind over a 12 year period, initially as an Orientation and Mobility Specialist, then becoming co-founder and Coordinator of the Low Vision Service and Educational Consultant to the Latin American Region. In this latter role, Vickie co-founded the first program for children with deaf-blindness in Central American in San Jose, Costa Rica. She has consulted and conducted workshops for teachers and parents around the US and in Egypt, Mexico, Panama, Costa Rica, Venezuela, Chile, Argentina, Guyana, the Dominican Republic and Brazil. She has co-authored several publications and has served on the boards of several professional organizations. Ms. Brennan earned her BA degree in psychology from the College of Wooster, her Masters in Education degree from Boston College, and a Masters of Science degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry.
