Dr. Danielson was a co-founder and Vice President of Zipcar, where she created the vision, technology, operational procedures, and early business relations of the most successful carsharing company. She was born and raised in Berlin Germany, where she received her Ph.D. in Geochemistry from the Freie Universität Berlin. She has worked and studied in many countries including South Africa, Italy, the UK, Canada, and the US.
